Tuesday 6:30pm - 8pm or Saturday 10am - 11:30am
Beavers are the youngest section in the Scouting Family and are aged between six and eight years old.
What we offer to young people in the Beaver Scout section is a range of exciting activities, events and experiences which all work together to achieve the Chief Scout Bronze, which is the highest award a Beaver can gain.
In the pursuit of the Chief Scout Bronze award Beaver Scouts must gain all 6 of the Challenge Awards, and at least 4 of the 20 Activity Awards or Staged Awards.
When working with such young members it is essential to keep the programme fresh, exciting, relaxed, and most importantly fun!
To help provide a balanced programme we have Programme Zones which split the whole programme into more manageable areas. Each zone represents a different development area in a young person's life, and they also correspond with the 6 Challenge Awards.
